During Wable’s field trip in June 2019 we actively took part in the testing phase of the first kiosk of the ongoing project within Bonge community. Our local partner organisation has been active in this project since 2012. Wable, Ministry of Water and Environment and our local partnerorganisation signed a Public- Private Partnership in June 2019 with the aim to equip kiosks at 85 locations in the area with high quality drinking water. During this field trip we had the opportunity to interact and work together with our local team, community and the deputy director of the water department. It was wonderful to experience the collaborative effort and talk directly with the local community about safe and clean drinking water in their environment.
Hi….in which Sub-Counties in Homa-bay County is WABLE working, providing water? I intend to support some areas in Homaby, but would not like to duplicate efforts. I am keen to work in the rural areas not in the towns
